Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Children and extra bed policy

Children of any age are allowed. n Children up to and including 11 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. n You haven't added any cots. n You haven't added any extra beds.

Cleanliness

Mostly praised as sparkling clean in several reviews, but isolated negatives (ants in bathroom, unpleasant closet smell) lowered the score.

Service

Consistently excellent — staff repeatedly described as friendly, accommodating and helpful (staff mailed back a lost valuable item; bartender and front desk singled out positively).

Location

Multiple reviewers cite a great, central and safe area with excellent atmosphere and easy transport links; location is a clear strength.

Room Quality

Rooms praised for vintage character, spaciousness, comfortable beds, fireplace and claw-foot tubs, but the building’s age shows (noisy rooms, old TV, inconsistent water temperature, occasional odors).

Amenities

Good on complimentary bottled water/snacks, bar/cocktails, tea/coffee area and period features; some dated elements (old TV) and parking access issues affect perceived amenity quality.

Historic Charm and Elegance

Located in the picturesque Pacific Heights neighborhood, Hotel Majestic boasts early 20 th Century architecture and exquisite French and English antiques. The hotel's elegant rooms are adorned with luxurious drapes and pillows, while the bathrooms feature marble countertops and plush monogrammed robes.

Culinary Delights at Café Majestic

Indulge in a full American breakfast or savor light fare and appetizers at Café Majestic. Dine in style in the opulent dining room or unwind at the bar, offering a delightful culinary experience for guests to enjoy.
