Multiple reviewers explicitly note clean and functional rooms ("chambre propre et fonctionnelle", "Propreté"). Overall cleanliness is reported positively, though some rooms are dated.

Reception and staff are frequently described as helpful and friendly (24/24 reception, assistance with early breakfast). Some isolated negative mentions (unfriendly breakfast server) temper the score.

Many guests praise the proximity to Gare de Lyon, metro and local restaurants ("amazing location", "proche du métro"). A few reviews report confusion about multiple similarly named IBIS hotels or a 20-minute walk to the station, so sentiment is generally positive but mixed.

Rooms are described as small but functional, with comfortable beds. Several guests note small bathrooms/showers, dated decor (carpet), weak hair dryer, and occasional maintenance issues—hence a lower score.
